Progress- 5/20/09

i have been tracking all foods that go in my mouth for 12 days now thanks to the 30 day challenge. the idea is that i am converting more and more to "clean eating" and i want to make sure my ratios are right in terms of protein/carbs/fat calories. i have learned some interesting things:
  1. Pistachios everyday do not agree with me
  2. Waiting too long to eat is harmful to my system and those around me
  3. Eating too much makes me feel sick. A few months ago i would just get uncomfortable. Now, i am literally on the verge of kissing the porcelain!
  4. I do not crave sweets like I used to. I had almost 1/2 of a cupcake the other day and halfway through the almost 1/2 cupcake, I realized i wasn't really enjoying it but finished it because i felt like eventually i would start enjoying it. i mean it WAS sweets with icing!!! isn't that what "normal people" like?!?!? i did enjoy the chips i ate late that day, but again i reached a point where i was wondering WHY i was eating them too!!
  5. i have to keep a well stocked refrigerator and pantry
  6. planning ahead is a MAJOR key to success

so, today i am tracking again...I will see what else i discover!!
